The Children's Support Founsation and the Russian Ministry of Labor, in collaboration with regional authorities, have recently held the 10th anniversary nationwide "Family of the Year" competition.  The celebratory awards ceremony was held at the esteemed "Russia" National Center in Moscow.

Notably, the Kantulayev family from Novolaksky District of Dagestan participated in this prestigious event which drew families from across Russia, each showcasing unique narratives of successful parenting and harmonious family dynamics. Eighty-nine families were recognized as national winners across six distinct categories: "Large Family", "Young Family", "Rural Family", "Golden Family", "Family – Keeper of Traditions", and "Defender of the Fatherland Family".

The festivities featured performances by renowned artists who extended their congratulations to the victorious families. The program was rich and engaging, encompassing dance and circus acts, as well as interactive activities enjoyed by both children and adults alike. Celebrated musicians such as Ilona Bronevitskaya, Stas Piekha, Denis Klyaver, Valeriya, Alexander Marshal and Tatyana Kurtukova graced the occasion with their performances.

The "Family of the Year" competition serves as an annual platform uniting families from diverse geographical locations within Russia, fostering a sense of national unity while promoting the preservation of traditions and strengthening interregional bonds.
