The regional week of the festival in the Republic of Dagestan, which is dedicated to the unity of art and the army, will begin under the slogan 'Art and the army are united!'. Leading figures in Russian art will present the united position of the battlefront and homefront.

On May 25, Makhachkala will host creative meetings, film screenings, musical events and discussions for students, schoolchildren, the families of participants in the special military operation, residents and guests of the region.

The festival coincides with the third anniversary of start of the special military operation. The aim is to provide viewers with objective information about the reasons for the operation, Russian servicemen and volunteers supporting the front as well as the events in Donbass over the past decade.

Particular attention will be given to the selfless work of home front representatives and their contribution to the development of industry, art, public service and other areas. The festival also aims to identify and promote new talents in documentary filmmaking, support young filmmakers and celebrate the lives of creative individuals who support the front and create works about Russian soldiers, Russia and patriotism.
