Telecom operators in Dagestan have reported a significant increase in the volume of internet traffic. According to several operators, the growth has been close to 30%.

The main reasons for this are not only the increased number of tourists but also the improvement of the technical infrastructure. In many densely populated areas of Dagestan, particularly in Makhachkala, mobile communications are now available in the LTE format, with average internet speeds exceeding 80 Mbps.

Social media platforms such as VK and Telegram continue to be the most popular internet services in the region, with Dagestani users accessing them 11% more frequently.
