Final preparations are underway in Dagestan for the 3rd International Caspian Digital Forum, the leading digital event in the Caspian region. The forum is set to take place on October 30-31 at the "Moscow" Congress Hall. To date, the event has already registered 333 participants. The attendee list includes government officials and delegates from all five Caspian littoral states, underscoring the forum's significant regional importance.
As reported by Yuri Gamzatov, Digital Development Minister of the Republic of Dagestan, the forum's program will feature both business sessions and large-scale sport-technical events. The business agenda will focus on key areas of digitalization, including:
• Strategic sessions on the digital transformation of Caspian states, environmental monitoring and the development of the remote sensing data market.
• A roundtable discussion dedicated to countering deepfakes.
• A workshop on utilizing large datasets from mobile operators for government operations.
The interactive segment of the forum promises to be equally comprehensive. The event will feature:
• The final of international hackathon.
• Dagestan Cup in competitive programming.
• A championship of drone racing and a tournament in phygital football.
• A hockey match between the "Digital Spetsnaz" and "Caspian" teams.
The forum is organized by Russia’s Digital Development Ministry, the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Government of Dagestan and "Digital Forums" LLC.
