On September 12, the capital of Dagestan hosted the official opening ceremony for the religious forum "Peace to Our Home". As part of this event, one of the most significant religious events was held in the city's central square, attracting thousands of residents from the republic and visitors to the capital. Mufti from various regions of Russia and foreign countries as well as renowned theologians were among those who attended the event.

"It is impossible to overestimate the importance of such forums. It is an opportunity to exchange knowledge, get answers to their questions, make new acquaintances for our students and young alims. It is such events that become a confirmation that Islam is a religion of peace and goodness that encourages the development of modern society. Once again I would like to express my gratitude to the Mufti of Dagestan Sheikh Ahmad Afandi for his great work for the benefit of our capital, republic and country" - the mayor of Makhachkala Yusup Umavov wrote in his Telegram channel.
