Students of Dagestan State University win grants from Federal Agency for Youth Affairs

Students of Dagestan State University have triumphed in a federal grant competition organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, securing over RUB 4 million to bring their innovative projects to life. These projects span diverse areas, including student self-governance, professional skill enhancement and the preservation of historical memory.
Said-Afandi Khadijalaev, a History faculty student, introduced 'Generation of Heroes' educational and patriotic initiative designed to enrich understanding of the Great Patriotic War's events, heroes and their feats. This project offers a dynamic approach to learning history through engaging intellectual games.
Gadzhi Najmutdinov, from the Social Faculty, presented the “Logos School of Rhetoric and Communications” project focused on equipping participants with effective and sustainable negotiation, rhetoric and communication skills applicable across various life domains.
Zaira Bagandova, a Philology student, unveiled the “School of Student Activist ‘Leader’” training center aimed to cultivate leadership skills in students, transforming them into creative and effective leaders by immersing them in a supportive student and leadership environment.
In 2025, the competition attracted 19,682 applications from across Russia. Ultimately, 1,401 projects from 81 regions were selected to receive grant support, with a total funding pool of RUB 800 million.
