As of January 1, 2024, tax arrears in the Republic amount to RUB 37.2 billion. Compared to 2023, tax debts have increased by RUB 8.8 billion. Out of this total, the debts owed by organizations registered with republican tax authorities to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Dagestan amount to RUB 14.4 billion.

The total volume of arrears consists of the following components

- Organizational profit tax – RUB 90.46 million;
- Personal income tax (PIT) - RUB 2.8 billion;
- Property tax on individuals' property - RUB 6.4 billion;
- Transportation tax - RUB 2.5 billion;
- Property tax on legal entities - RUB 1.4 billion.
