Terrorists detained in Dagestan supplied Crocus attackers with money and weapons

They planned to flee abroad after the explosion and mass murder. The foreign militants detained in Dagestan provided money and weapons to the terrorists who attacked the Crocus city hall near Moscow and prepared a terrorist attack in the town of Kaspiysk.

On Sunday morning, the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) reported that special forces had blocked the terrorists in apartments in residential areas of Makhachkala and Kaspiysk. A counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced.

The FSB reported that on March 31 in the Republic of Dagestan the activity of a terrorist cell consisting of four foreigners was suppressed. The criminals conducted reconnaissance of the area, made an improvised explosive device, purchased automatic weapons and prepared to commit a terrorist act. Immediately afterwards, they planned to leave Russia.

The terrorist attack in the Crocus Town Hall near Moscow took place on the evening of March 22. Before the performance of the band "Picnic", people dressed in camouflage burst into the concert hall and opened fire with automatic weapons. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case on the terrorist attack. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed.
