Unemployment rate may reduce in Dagestan to 7% by 2030

The regional authorities hope to reduce the unemployment rate to 7% by 2030 according to the International Labor Organization (ILO) methodology. The draft "road map" to correct the current trends in the labor market of the region has been discussed at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group, the office of the deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova reports.

The meeting participants considered a special technology called ''Road Maps''. This innovation will help to correct the current situation with unemployment in the republic. The Road Map also contains tactics to promote employment among disabled people and veterans of combat operations.

After discussion, the draft "Road Map" was approved with minor revisions. The plan is to reduce the share of unemployed citizens in Dagestan to 7% in 6 years.
