A mobile selection point for military service under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has started functioning in Makhachkala. The mobile complex has been deployed in the park named after the 50th Anniversary of October Revolution. An army tent was set up on the territory beside a car painted in the colors of the Russian flag with an appeal to join the contract military service.

In the mobile pavilion the candidates from among civilian youth and reserve soldiers can pass an interview, questionnaire and psychological selection, as well as apply for admission to the compounds and military units of the Russian Federation.

Captain Evgeny Medvedev, the head of the selection point in Makhachkala, said that anyone from 18 to 65 years old can enroll in the ranks of the contract soldiers. Medvedev pointed out that servicemen will receive decent financial remuneration, comprehensive medical care and social benefits.
