The XVIII International Meeting of Young Rescuers and Firefighters has finished in Belarus. A team representing Dagestan regional branch of the School of Safety youth movement won second place in the competition.  

Training for the young participants was provided by experts from the Main Directorate of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan, along with specialists from Dagestan Search and Rescue Squad.

The competition encompassed a range of challenges designed to assess the participants' skills. These included a business card presentation contest, fire and water relay races, first aid demonstrations, navigation of a rope course, talent showcases focused on safety, and team-based sporting events titled "Sportland: Together to Victory". The participating teams consisted of five boys and two girls aged between 12 and 16 years old, representing Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
