The recent All-Russian arm-wrestling championship, hosted in Vladikavkaz, attracted a significant number of participants, with over 250 athletes representing nearly 30 regions across Russia. The competition featured both seasoned professionals and aspiring amateurs vying for prestigious titles.

Dagestani national team, composed of twenty athletes, demonstrated exceptional prowess, winning five podium positions. Muslim Angutaev's victory in his weight category secured him the gold medal and qualification for the Master of Sports of Russia.  Ruslan Magomedov and Zalimkhan Narchaev achieved commendable second-place finishes in their respective divisions. Karim Shikhsaidov and Magomed Gazimagomedov further contributed to Dagestan team's success by securing third-place positions.
