Dagestani thai-boxers have won 7 medals as part of the Russian national team at the World Championship in Thailand, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the republic informed the news agency.

The captain of the Russian team Muhammad Gereykhanov (91 kg+) and Abdul Sagitov (91 kg) managed to win gold. Three other Dagestanis Ramazan Esenbayev (57 kg), Nazir Hajiyev (75 kg) and Shikhalikhan Nasibov (40 kg) won silver medals. Magomedsaid Aidiyev (86 kg) and Gazi Gazibutayev (46 kg) won bronze medals. In total, the Russian national team won 56 gold, 18 silver and 19 bronze medals of the event.
