Adil Abdullayev, a judge from Dagestan, has been recognized as an international category arbiter in wrestling by United World Wrestling (UWW). Abdullayev, who is also a Russian Master of Sports and deputy director of an Olympic Reserve School, revealed that his ambition to become a judge began at age 12 while assisting as a timekeeper at a competition in Khasavyurt. He officially started his judging career in 2016.
