Dagestani para-taekwondo practitioners to perform at European Taekwondo Championship in Warsaw

Makhachkala, September 14, 2016. Seven Dagestani para-taekwondo practitioners, as a part of the Russian national team, will perform at the European Taekwondo Championship in Warsaw on September 15 - 17, the head of Dagestan Para-taekwondo Federation Ruslan Biyarslanov says.
The Russian national team includes Kazibagam Omarov (up to 63 kg), Magomedzagir Isaldibirov (up to 75 kg), Aliaskhab Ramazanov (up to 75 kg), Marat Dzhupanov (+75 kg), Zainutdin Atayev (+75 kg), Seville Abdulova (up to 58 kg) and Maryam Salimgereeva (up to 58 kg).
"Our athletes achieved victories at the most representative tournaments, including the European and World championships. Dagestan para-taekwondo practitioners, who, in fact, being the most part of the Russian national team, once again will participate to prove the title of the strongest in taekwondo. Three training camps have been organized with the support of Dagestan Ministry of Sport to let the sportsmen to get prepared for the European Championships. Dagestani athletes are preparing in good mood. I do not doubt that they will return with the award-winning "- Biyarslanov stated.
Recall, Dagestani sportsmen won two gold and one silver medals at the European Championships, held in Turkey in 2015.
