Javier Mendez, the esteemed head coach of the AKA Academy, shared his thoughts on his visit to Dagestan, emphasizing the hearty welcome from the locals.

Mendez noted that the people of Dagestan treated him as if he was a part of their family, providing assistance and hospitality without expecting anything in return. He also mentioned that he did not have to pay for any expenses during his stay. Mendez compared this experience to other regions, such as Arab countries, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which also exhibited a similar level of hospitality.

"Recently, I visited Kazakhstan and the locals were incredibly welcoming. The same can be said about Uzbekistan. These regions have a unique level of respect and hospitality, which is truly remarkable" - Mendez added.
