The city of Khasavyurt will host the XXVI International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament in memory of Honored Master of Sports Shamil Umakhanov on November 27 - December 1. The competition will take place at the Gamid Gamidov Sports Complex.

The tournament will feature both promising young athletes and well-known champions. Along with a strong Russian team, wrestlers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Tunisia, Canada, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Hungary will compete for medals in 10 weight categories.

The event continues the tradition of international competitions - the previous 25th tournament gathered about 250 athletes from 23 countries. All sports enthusiasts are invited to attend the tournament, support the athletes and witness world-class wrestling performances.
