Krasnoyarsk’s Yenisei-STM wins Russian Rugby Super Cup held in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, May 12, 2015. Krasnoyarsk’s Yenisei-STM won the Russian Rugby Super Cup yesterday at the Dinamo stadium in Makhachkala. In the game for the rugby trophy, the team from Krasnoyarsk beat Moscow’s Glory DSP 27: 3.
In the run-up of the rugby match, 1st deputy Dagestan Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov welcomed the participants and spectators. "Rugby in Dagestan was officially born a few years ago. Now, this team sport is developing in the republic fairly quickly both among boys and girls," the official commented.
The game was attended by Dagestan minister of physical culture and sports Magomed Magomedov, president of the Rugby Premier League Georgiy Sadov, president of Dagestan Rugby Federation Magomedrassul Magomedov, head of the elite rugby department Dmitry Afinogenov, manager of Russian men's national team Zorik Masandilov, and other officials.
Manager with the European Rugby Development of the International Rugby Board (IRB) Douglas Langley noted the top-level organization of the match, "It’s a wonderful organization, a great field, and a warm welcome.
