Six Dagestani freestyle wrestlers have been selected to represent Bahrain in the Asian Championship which will take place in Amman, Jordan, on March 25 - 30. Magomedrasul Asluev (+74kg), Magomed Sharipov (+92kg), Alibeg Alibegov (+65kg), Khidir Saipudinov (+79kg), Shamil Sharipov (+125kg) and Akhmed Tajudinov (+97kg) will be competing for the national team.

No other Asian countries have included any freestyle wrestlers from Dagestan in their squads for the upcoming competitions.
