Dagestan authorities expect growth of industrial production
Makhachkala, June 5, 2017. According to the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, the republic demonstrates the dynamics of the industrial production growth equaling approx. 30-32% in 2017. By results of the first quarter of 2017, the growth of industrial production of the republic made 29.6%. Abdulatipov noted.
"The part of the growth is due to the development of the industry under the import substitution program. The Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant put into operation a new workshop employing 500 local residents in the city of Kaspiysk. Besides, the defense contracts made it possible to stabilize the work of the Dagdizel enterprise" – the Head of the region reported on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic forum (SPIEF). In addition, Abdulatipov said, there are plans to relocate the production facilities for the manufacture of anti-aircraft guns from the Moscow region to Kaspiysk.
