Moscow to host "Derbent, Dagestan, Russia" exhibition
Makhachkala, October 26, 2015. On November 3, the exhibition entitled "Derbent, Dagestan, Russia" will take place at the State Historical Museum on Red Square in Moscow. The exhibition consisted of five sections and reflects the main milestones in the history of Dagestan.
The section "Antiquity" includes bronze and ceramic products. The "Middle Ages" section recreates the interior of highland hut. The “XVIII Century” represents the Emperor Peter’s the Great visit to Derbent.
Besides, the exhibition will let the visitors feel the everyday life of the ancient city – the so called "crossroad" for nations and religions, a major center on the Silk Road - Derbent.
The last "milestone" depicts the modern Dagestan. The guests and visitors will also get acquainted with the works of Dagestan art.
