Abdussamad Gamidov meets with the executive secretary of Russian Foreign Ministry’s UNESCO Commission
Makhachkala, February 26, 2015. Yesterday Dagestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov met with the executive secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s UNESCO Commission - President of the World Heritage Committee of Russia Grigory Ordzhonikidze, the press service of Dagestan Head and government’s administration reports.
The meeting was attended by director of the Russian Culture Ministry’s Department of Cultural Heritage State Protection Vladimir Tsvetnov, head of the Russian Culture Ministry’s Control in the Southern Federal District, the North Caucasus Federal District, and the Crimean Federal District Tatiana Seledtsova, first deputy Dagestan Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov, Dagestan minister of culture Zarema Butaeva, and other officials.
Participants considered the outcome of the authoritative experts’ recent one-day visit to Derbent, including relevant issues related to preparations for celebrating the 2,000th anniversary of the Russia’s most ancient city.
