Azerbaijani investors to build industrial park in Dagestan
Makhachkala, May 16, 2016. Azerbaijani investors will construct an industrial park on the basis of Makhachkala Machine-Building Plant of Separators OJSC, the press service of Dagestan agency for entrepreneurship and investment informs.
According to the spokesperson, Azerbaijani investors will carry out the construction under the agreement on partnership and cooperation concluded between the Government RD and the Caspian Invest Group LLC.
As informed, the industrial park will unite industrial, agro industrial and trade enterprises, as well as a plant for the packaging of Azerbaijani, Iranian and Dagestani products for the Russian market. All facilities will be registered as small and medium-sized businesses that implies tax benefits for the republican budget.
The total area of industrial park will make 15 thousand square meters, the estimated amount of investment and turnover will be about RUR 1 billion. The construction is about to start this year.
As to the head of Dagestan agency for entrepreneurship and investment Bashir Magomedov, the agreement aims at uniting the efforts of the governmental, non-governmental organizations, the local territorial self-governments, the businesses and the scientists in performing certain tasks.
Besides, the investment projects aims at achieving the quantitative and qualitative results and searching for funds to be invested.
It should be noted that the agreement was signed within the framework of the meeting between Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov with the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the representatives of business circles of Azerbaijan, held May 12 in Baku.
