Dagestani Head participates in Russian President’s address rally
Moscow, December 4, 2014.Today, President Vladimir Putin addressed the Federal Assembly with his annual state of the nation speech. Dignitaries such as members of the Federation Council, State Duma deputies, the Cabinet, heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, regional governors, chairmen of regional legislative assemblies, traditional religious authorities, heads of regional public chambers, major media officials, and other public figures assembled in the St. George's Hall of the Kremlin. Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov was at the ceremony, too.
The president noted that it is a relevant address in the context of time and environment we are living in and the challenges we are facing. "But above all, I’d like to thank you all for your support, for the unity and solidarity in crucial moments, when our country’s future is being determined. This year, we have been through ordeals only a mature united nation, a truly sovereign and powerful state can withstand. Russia has once again showed it is able to protect their compatriots and respectfully defend truth and justice.
"Our country has done it through your, Russian citizens’, support, through the work your have done and the results we have achieved together, through your deep understanding of how much national interests are significant. We’ve realized the integrity of our homeland’s millennia-old history. We are a self-confident nation, and we believe there’s nothing we are unable to do together."
