Makhachkala, August 5, 2014. Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov chaired a government’s workshop to discuss a number of pressing issues, the press service of Daghestani Head and government’s administration informed RIA "Dagestan".
The minister of economy and regional development Rayudin Yussufov, the minister of agriculture and food supply Battal Battalov and the minister of finance Antonina Idrissova spoke about how the federal agencies consider orders the Russian president and prime minister made after they met with Daghestani Head R. Abdulatipov.
The chairman of Daghestan tourism committee Magomed Issayev told about the 2014 tourist season and the measures to support the tourist and recreational complex in the republic. He reported that as of July 1, 2014, the domestic tourist flow in Daghestan has proved to be more than 230,000 tourists, of them, 28,000 came from abroad, and 29,000 Daghestanis left Daghestan as tourists. He added there are 35 tourist companies serving 184 collective accommodation facilities in Daghestan. He observed an increase in investment activity in tourism and recreation, including the summer (beach) sector.
Participants also discussed preparations for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Caucasus ("Native") Cavalry Division after adviser to Daghestani Head Denga Khalidov reported on the issue.
