More local-manufactured goods in market needed - Dagestani Head
Makhachkala, February 5, 2016. On February 4, within his working trip to Southern Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov visited a number of shopping facilities in Suleiman - Stalsky district of the republic. Dagestani leader, accompanied by the republic’s minister of agriculture Musafendi Velimuradov, the Plenipotentiary Representative of Dagestani Head in the southern territorial district Ali Khazbulatov and a head of the municipal formation “Suleiman-Stalsky” Nariman Abdulmutalibov paid an inspecting visit to the shopping facilities on the territory of Kasumkent market.
Noteworthy, the market retailers sell mainly the local-manufactured goods. In particular, visitors could taste the food produced in Suleiman Stalsky distrcit such as mulberry syrup, honey, adjika sauce, homemade butter, curd, cheese, eggs, cabbage, apples and pickled products. By the way, Dagesatni Head bought a cabbage, spelt wheat, dried and fresh apples and mulberry syrup.
Abdulatipov pointed out the overstocking with imported milk and dairy products and therefore, called to produce local goods. “We should produce our own milk, cheese and curd. Our products should be cheaper than the imported ones"- Abdulatipov said.
Dagestani Head also noted that the local-manufactured products such as cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh and dried meat, cakes, pickles are of high quality, but the customers see no wide range of goods. "We should buy and produce only our local products. It is necessary as much as possible to motivate Dagestanis farmers to produce food products taking into account the fact that we have good market conditions for its realization" - Abdulatipov concluded.
