Dagestan World Foundation organizes meeting for youth in Germany
Makhachkala, November 3, 2016. Within the framework of the Russian-German youth exchange program held October 24 - November 1, Dagestan World Foundation together with Cologne Integration Center "Atlant" (Germany), initiated a meeting of youth activists from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and implemented a project entitled "Transferring the democratic values to youth ", the Foundation director Mukhtar Daudov said.
To realize the project, several groups consisted of 8 students from Dagestan, Volgograd, Kharkov and Cologne were created. The students of Dagestan State University of National Economy represented the republic. The participants prepared a presentation about the culture, traditions and customs of the peoples of Dagestan and the concert program in the national style.
“The main goal of the project is to develop and strengthen the international mutual understanding, to exchange national customs, traditions, culture, to grow a sense of humanism and compassion among young people from different countries, to overcome ethnic and religious barriers.
The participants trained to interact with each other in a friendly environment. The current topics of the project issued with the help of ethnic groups from the three countries” - Daudov informed.
The seminars, held in different institutions (the court of second instance of Cologne, the television station "Deutsche Welle", the publishing house «Neven DuMont Haus, University “ Fachhochschule des mittelstands”) discussed the current socio-economic issues, the ways of peaceful solution of problems related to the democratic principles.
In the end, the director of the Atlant Integration Center Eugene Rempel handed gifts to all participants. Mukhtar Daudov thanked the management of Atlas center for the hearty welcome and presented the Diploma of International Public Foundation "Russian Peace Foundation" for fruitful collaboration in the implementation of international youth programs between Russia and Germany.
