RIA "Dagestan" staff take part in "Mashuk-2014" youth forum
Pyatigorsk, August 20, 2014. RIA "Dagestan" employees took an active part in the 5th North Caucasus Youth Forum "Mashuk-2014" ended August 17. The staff participated in educational, competitive and creative program blocks. The news agency was an informational partner of the forum.
The head of the innovation projects department Mukhtar Amirov and his subordinate Gamid Gitinov were at the forum for the second time as experts of the youth projects grant competition held by the Federal agency of youth affairs. The experts evaluated contestants’ project ideas before the jury decided on allocating grants.
Another Amirov’s subordinate Sabina Kurbanova held a workshop "Communication management" to speak about specifics and main channels of information perception and give the basic skills of building communications in business negotiations and everyday life. RIA "Dagestan"’s Arsen Abdullayev defended his project of the North Caucasus graffiti festival "Colours of South" and helped create patriotic art objects.
The forum brought together 2,500 participants from all North Caucasus Federal District regions, other Russian regions and 5 foreign countries. The forum also saw a lot of dignitaries including well-known Russian politicians, famous athletes, actors and public figures, the headliner being Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Over the past two weeks, the young leaders had a chance to meet and make friends, get valuable information at VIP lectures and workshops, participate in exciting panel discussions on pressing issues, and show what they can on dance floors and sports venues. Most importantly – they got an opportunity to present and defend their projects at the grants competition.
