Renat Saidov wins the gold medal at the Asian Cup
Makhachkala, July 31, 2014. Renat Saidov, judoka obtained the gold medal at the open Asia Cup in Taiwan on July 29, the website of Russian Judo Federation reports.
A native of Daghestan, acting for the Chelyabinsk region, held three successful combats at the tournament in weight up to 100 kg.
Another native of Daghestan, Tagir Khaibulaev, Olympic champion in the Games in London, performing for St. Petersburg and Samara, took the fifthe place at the tournament.
It should be noted that the Russian team, represented by 11 athletes at the Asia Cup managed to gain 3 gold and silver and 4 bronze medals, taking the second place in team offset.
