The titled Dagestan freestyle wrestler will represent Bahrain team at the Asian Championships, which will be held on April 11-12 in Bishkek. Akhmed Tajudinov is the reigning Asian light-heavyweight champion. Earlier this year, the Dagestani won a prestigious international tournament in Antalya, Turkey. Apart from Tajudinov, at the Asian Championships the Kingdom of Bahrain will be represented by three other Dagestani wrestlers - Khidir Saipudinov (79kg), Magomed Sharipov (92kg) and Shamil Sharipov (125kg).
