Recall, the Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to write off 2/3 of the budget loans previously approved for the country's regions. In this regard, Dagestan decided to use the previously released mandatory funds for the needs of the region's development.

As to the region's prime minister, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Dagestan was granted a budget credit for infrastructure in the amount of 14 billion RUB. The funds can be used for projects in industry, including manufacturing, housing and utilities and culture.

Dagestan now intends to submit its proposals to the federal center for approval.
