The agricultural enterprise Tatlyar, located in Derbentski district of Dagestan, has expanded its vineyard by planting new vines on an area of 75 hectares. According to the company's head, Azad Gadzhiev, the technical grape variety «Firstborn of Magarach» is currently in high demand. The yield of this variety can reach up to 200 centners per hectare.
«We now have a new plantation — 75 hectares, which will be equipped with a harvester and drip irrigation system. The total area of our farm is 1,700 hectares. We have planted a variety of grape varieties here» - Gadzhiev says. Noteworthy, Tatlyar LLC received an increased state subsidy for the establishment and maintenance of vineyards, including the installation of trellises.
