Azimut Airline has announced launching new international flights departing from Makhachkala within the next two years, with a focus on Middle Eastern destinations. Oleg Dyshkant, the airline's Director, highlighted the significant potential for growth in international travel originating from Makhachkala, citing its strategic geographical location and increasing tourism volume.

Eduard Teplitsky, Director of Azimut's Route Network Management Department, further elaborated that new flight paths could connect Makhachkala with neighboring countries and destinations in the Middle East within the aforementioned timeframe.  He emphasized that the development of these routes will be guided by a comprehensive assessment of local passenger needs, tourism trends, and economic viability.
