In the first 11 months of 2025, the number of newly registered companies and individual entrepreneurs (IEs) in the Republic of Dagestan increased by 20% compared to the same period in 2024. This impressive growth has placed Dagestan third nationwide in terms of the rate of new legal entity registrations.

According to data from Rusprofile, a leading business intelligence service, the Republic of Mari El leads Russia with a 26% increase, having registered nearly 4,800 new firms and entrepreneurs from January to November 2025. Chuvashia ranks second with a 24% rise.

Nationwide, 1.1 million new businesses and individual entrepreneurs were registered during this period, with 996,400 currently active. Dagestan’s strong performance reflects improving conditions for entrepreneurship, increasing formalization of the economy, and growing confidence among local entrepreneurs in the region’s business climate.
