In 2024, the revived Kikuninsky cannery put into operation a new line for the production of stewed fruit. According to the enterprise director Shamil Gadzhiev, all products meet the state quality standards.

"Our stewed fruit is an environmentally friendly product. It is literally 'grown' in the mountainous regions of Dagestan. There are no harmful chemical additives in our product. We have just started production. Just recently we produced the first trial batch. Before that there was not even one stewed fruit factory in the republic. So far, we have produced only cherry compote. In the future we will produce stewed apricots, apples, etc." - Gadzhiev says.
