In the Republic of Dagestan, a comprehensive analysis of the financial performance of private sector enterprises in 2024 revealed a concerning trend of negative balance sheets. According to the statistical data available, the aggregate deficit amounted to RUB 1.7 billion. This outcome is particularly noteworthy as it indicates that 168 entities achieved profitability amounting to RUB 18.2 billion, while a total of 46 companies incurred losses amounting to an alarming RUB 19.9 billion.

Among the most significant contributors to these losses were organizations engaged in the provision of gas supply and production of gas fuel, which amounted to nearly RUB 16.3 billion. Notably, total liabilities reached a remarkable level of 259 billion rubles at the close of the year, while receivables stood at RUB 84.4 billion.
