As to the regional Ministry of Transport, technological advancements are being incorporated into road repair projects as part of the National Infrastructure for Life initiative. The success of this project is measured by the use of modern technologies and materials in critical infrastructure in the region.

At present, road construction crews implement innovative techniques in the extensive renovation of the Kizilyurt-Shamkhal-Yangiyurt-Sulak highway, particularly between kilometers 34 and 50. This project employs advanced materials for foundation stabilization, embankment fortification, and pavement reinforcement. These methods significantly improve the structural integrity of the road and extend its lifespan.
