Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant has initiated production of the first ten helicopters. The existing infrastructure enables an annual output of up to 15 helicopters, with the capacity to increase this figure to 50 if required.
KEMZ has expressed willingness to establish joint production ventures within the territories of allied nations. Notably, the plant manufactures nearly all helicopter components in-house, encompassing blades, bearing systems, gearboxes, freewheel clutches, fans, control systems, fuselages, landing gear, and lanterns. While avionics (also domestically produced) and a foreign-sourced engine (Rolls-Royce 450 hp) are currently non-localized, KEMZ intends to replace the foreign engine with a Russian equivalent in the future.
