The VinoGrad Pavilion consistently ranks as a prominent attraction at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This year, the pavilion showcases Derbent Wine, a renowned Dagestan winery.  

The open-air venue offers visitors a chance to sample wines from the leading Russian wineries and explore the world of viticulture and winemaking. Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, spoke with journalists about the products on display and the progress made in Dagestan's wine industry.

The top official highlighted region’s significant contribution to Russia's wine production, noting that the republic accounts for 42% of the country's total grape harvest and 90% of Russian cognac production. Abdulmuslimov also pointed out the substantial economic benefits generated by the industry, which annually contributes between RUB 5 and 7 billion to the regional budget.
