Experts predict an increase in domestic tourist trips in the summer of 2025. The Ministry of Economic Development reports that Dagestan and Crimea are the leaders in terms of bookings. The number of bookings in both regions has grown by 40%.

Demand for summer holidays in Dagestan has almost doubled in 2025 compared to last year. The authorities hope to maintain high demand for tourism this summer in Russia. During the period from May to September, 48 million tourist trips are expected, with growth of around 8%.

Some of the leading regions with forecast growth this summer include Buryatia (70% bookings), Crimea (40% growth), Dagestan (40%), Altai, Nizhny Novgorod region and Bashkiria. These forecasts will be shared with the Ministry of Transport to ensure accessibility to the most popular destinations. Most of the measures will be implemented for the southern directions.
