Dagestan-based agricultural enterprise “Chokh” will participate in the 25th Russian exhibition of sheep and goats. The event will be held in the republic for the third time. The farm intends to showcase three unique breeds of small cattle: ram of Dagestani Mountain breed, Lezgi breed and their crosses with Russian meat Merino.

The farm had successfully participated in both Russian and international exhibitions. The local specialists have developed a balanced feed comprising seven grains ensuring optimal nutrition for the animals. During the exhibition, a panel of experts will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the physical attributes, body weight and wool quality of each animal. Particular emphasis will be placed on identifying a potential champion that weighs an impressive 120 kilograms.

The breeding process is currently under way at Chokh enterprise. Approximately 5,000 lambs have already been born. It is projected that this season will witness the arrival of over 10,000 additional offspring.
