The prime minister of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov has announced plans to resume ferry transportation in the port of Makhachkala. As to the top official, agreements have already been reached with Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan for the resumption of these services. This will allow for an increase in the transshipment of container cargo, for which two specialized berths were built in the port with a capacity of 1.63 million tons per year.
