Dagestan authorities undertake an extensive urban improvement initiative, investing over one billion RUB to transform 131 public spaces. The project aligns with the federal program "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" and aims to enhance the quality of life for residents by October 1, 2025. The planned improvements encompass landscaping, modernized lighting infrastructure and the creation of sports and recreational facilities.

Building upon the success of last year's initiative which revitalized 117 areas, this program reflects commitment of the local government to creating attractive and functional public spaces. Notably, a multifunctional complex featuring restaurants, cafes and retail outlets is also under development along the Caspian Sea shoreline, with an anticipated completion date in autumn 2027.
