Dagestani agricultural company has successfully exported its first batch of locally grown apples to the Republic of Belarus, marking a significant milestone for the region’s agro-industrial sector.
The inaugural shipment of fresh apples was dispatched by “Polosa” LLC, Dagestan-based company, to Belarus under a newly signed export agreement. This breakthrough follows a reverse trade mission to Dagestan by Belarusian entrepreneurs, organized with the support of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Dagestan.
During the visit, “Polosa” LLC secured an export contract with “Brest Inter-District Trading Base”, a state-owned enterprise in Belarus. The first deliveries under this agreement began in late November.
“This contract not only strengthens bilateral trade ties but also opens a promising new market for Dagestani agricultural producers” - Ruslan Abaskuliev, Public Assistant to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan and Director of the Export Support Center said.
The successful export underscores Dagestan’s growing potential as a supplier of high-quality agricultural products to international markets.
