The shipment was organized by the Ovruskhanova Family Farm located in Khasavyurt District. The first batch—nearly 5,700 cherry saplings—has already been delivered. According to farm director Saydulla Oruskhanov, international partners have expressed interest in continuing purchases next year as well.

“Our farm is the largest fruit nursery in the republic. We annually produce 350,000 saplings of cherry, plum and other crops across more than 50 hectares. Our planting material is also widely sold across Russia—in regions such as Krasnodar Krai, Kaluga Oblast and nearly all republics of the Northern Caucasus” – Oruskhanov says.

It’s worth noting that Uzbekistan has long been a key partner and importer of Dagestani goods. Thanks to the active support of Dagestan Export Support Center, the country regularly receives Dagestani juices, other agricultural products and select industrial goods.
