As part of the ongoing modernization of Makhachkala seaport, a state-of-the-art grain terminal with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons is currently being designed. All the necessary equipment had already been procured. Specialists conduct comprehensive upgrade of the crane fleet. Additionally, regular dredging operations are conducted on the water area.

The port's fleet is being overhauled. The berthing facilities in both the oil and dry cargo terminals are under reconstruction. The enterprise actively works on establishing its property portfolio, laying the groundwork for future development projects by preparing all necessary infrastructure.
