Dagestan authorities undertake an ambitious initiative to develop its tourism sector, aiming for substantial economic benefits and employment opportunities.

Five new tourist projects are slated for implementation utilizing preferential loans. The Ministry of Tourism anticipates receiving RUB 16.6 billion from the federal budget, with support from the Ministry of Economic Development, to facilitate this expansion. These projects are designed to establish a modern infrastructure capable of accommodating tourists throughout the year. The Ministry of Tourism believes this development will position Dagestan as a prominent tourist destination.
