The construction of the new OZON warehouse in Tyube village, Kumtorkalinsky district of Dagestan, has progressed significantly. The building's perimeter is now complete, with approximately 55,000 square meters scheduled for commissioning by July 2025, slightly ahead of the initial timeline.
The first part of the warehouse, encompassing approximately 55,000 square meters, is nearing completion. Interior finishing work has been finalized and equipment installation is underway. The overall project scope encompasses over 100,000 square meters, representing an investment of RUB 9.6 billion (with RUB 6.6 billion already disbursed). Full completion is anticipated by 2027.
The project is projected to generate up to four thousand jobs and expedite goods delivery times. This development aligns with the growing trend of e-commerce expansion into smaller towns and settlements, making a wider range of products accessible to residents. Notably, online food sales surged by 71 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, highlighting the increasing significance of e-commerce in daily life.
