The Swiss authorities have imposed ban on Swiss-registered companies conducting business with a number of Russian ports, including Novorossiysk and Makhachkala, TASS reports, citing data of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the Swiss Confederation. Apart from these two ports located in the Southern Federal District and the Northern Caucasus, the list of affected ports also includes Astrakhan, Primorsk, Ust-Luga, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, Perm and Pskov. The sanctions against these facilities were imposed by the European Union on February 24.
