In August 2025, port workers achieved unprecedented results in cargo handling. They surpassed the previous month's record of 47,000 tons of grain, which was the highest figure since 2020, by handling over 50,000 tons. This surge in throughput is attributed to expedited cargo procedures and an optimized storage scheme.

Besides, August witnessed a record-breaking volume of general cargo transshipment, exceeding 96,000 tons. Notably, cement constituted the majority of this cargo, reaching approximately 90,500 tons – the highest recorded figure for this commodity in the port's history.

In total, the dry cargo harbor handled around 147,000 tons of grain and general cargo during August, encompassing diverse goods such as fertilizers, timber, ceramic tiles, and salt. This represents the maximum volume processed by the dry-cargo harbor since 2011.
